Thank you. This is a great video. Also, maybe another idea is turning off fast charge setting and then turning it on again. This seems to also solve the problem after a reboot.

Hi I'm having this problem and this video has not solved my problem, I've cleared the cache and did a reboot from the bootloader menu several times but to no avail, the moisture error persists and it won't let me charge my phone. Would you or anyone recommend that I do a factory reset while I still have battery? I'm at 3 % and it's going to die soon, I have it off and I'm hoping to at least try to fix the issue with the last of my battery, but I'd really prefer to avoid a factory reset if possible

Thank you so much it worked perfectly I saved the video .This is the first one I've seen that step by step got me all the way through it.

I have 2 samsung phone I use in my store one is for loading e-wallets for my customer and the other i use for my personal use and for mobile hot spot for my other phone and both went crazy after I got them wet. I dried them and tried charging but the whole day they both won't charge because of the moisture detected warning. I was panicking because I thought I plug a bad USB C cable now all the contacts inside are mangled and with the water i spilled also ruined both my phone. I tried restarting and using other charger and cables but still the same. I was already thinking of closing tomorrow to get them both fixed and i will need to buy a new phone but I was really thight in the budget. I searched the wed your videos was the first I clicked. My A54 responded well with just deleting the cache but I have to use the clear data on my A55. It is all well now and thanks. If Brought this to Samsung they might just replace the whole USB board on both phones. My a54 is out of warranty while my newer A55 is still under warranty. my A54 has it's whole USB board replaced under warranty after after I plugged a bad USB C cable I ordered and it mangled the contacts . Samsung replaced the whole USB board with new one for free but my down time was a whole week. Thanks again.
